Mind. Body. Soul.

Trillium Ballet LLC

Our Philosophy

  1. Mind

At Trillium, we are committed to nurturing an environment that prioritizes mental health and well-being. We strive to create a space that is safe and consistent, and foster relationships that are empowering.
We believe that personal growth is as important as technical success. Here, we are dedicated to creating a community where you can be your most comfortable, authentic, and best self.

  2. Body

At Trillium, we value high-quality technical training to best prepare you as you continue (or begin!) your dance journey. We focus on equipping dancers with the tools to express their unique selves in artistic excellence.
We place great importance on bodily autonomy, and take seriously each dancer’s right to feel secure and in control of their body. We prioritize health and safety as we move, stretch, and progress, valuing transparency and non-judgement. We pride ourselves on our focus on loving and caring for the bodies we have.

  3. Soul

At Trillium, we value an artistic experience that goes beyond just enjoyment. We seek to provide a space for the deeply meaningful and transcendent, whatever your background and beliefs. Dance is a fundamentally personal medium, and we hope to uplift each dancer to explore and find fulfillment in self-expression.
We are a supportive community that is dedicated to building each dancer’s confidence and self-love. We believe in giving back to the community with regular outreach opportunities, to be part of something larger and to give back to the Grand Rapids community.
