Why Join

Have you danced earlier in life and as an adult miss the thrill of performing?

If you answered yes to any of these, Trillium Ballet Ensemble is for you. We offer performance opportunities for dancers from beginner to advanced, and an uplifting community that will support you as you grow and express your authentic self.

Audition Information

The Robin Hood â€‹audition is 7:00-9:30pm, January 16th, 2026.​​

​

The audition will consist of a technique class, then continue into learning a section of choreography, followed by dancers performing a 1-minute variation.​​​​​

Additional Audition Information
​
  • Virtual and in-person audition fee is $20.

  • In-person audition is free for ensemble members who performed in Beowulf.

  • Come prepared with a 1-minute solo

  • Wear all black & your skin tone tights: leotard, leggings, top.

  • Ballet shoes in tone that matches tights (leather, canvas, or pointe)

  • Long hair secured neatly out of the face in a bun.

  • Short hair secured out of face.

  • Dancers will need to sign a waiver and release form prior to audition.

  • Audition fee is non-refundable.​​

Virtual Audition Information
​
  • All attire requirements are the same as in-person auditions.

  • Make a 5-minute (max) video of barre work and center work.

  • Barre consists of plies, tendus, degages, rond de jambe, and grand battement on one side. One minute will be designated for center work consisting of adagio and petit allegro on one side. Include retire balance in center work or barre on one side.

  • Dancers must submit a one-minute solo if they wish to be considered for solo roles.

  • Please indicate whether the dancer is auditioning for lady, gentlemen, or both roles within your email.

  • Email your audition video link to trilliumballet@gmail.com with the subject as 'Ensemble Virtual Audition.'

  • Virtual Auditions will not be viewed until the audition fee has been paid in full.

  • Use the same email address to submit your audition video as what you use to pay the audition fee.

  • Audition fee is non-refundable.
